Under the crisp morning sky of Aarhus, Danmark Motionsuge or Denmark's Exercise Week kicked off with an energetic and diverse programme on the iconic Salling Group rooftop, setting the stage for an exciting week ahead.

The launch event began with a symbolic run, officially opening the celebrations. From there, the rooftop transformed into a vibrant hub of activity, offering everything from breakdancing and strength workouts to silent dance sessions and yoga.

Adding a playful twist to the event, the Wheel of Fortune kept participants on their toes with fitness challenges and fun prizes. Some walked away with exclusive goodies after a round of burpees or squats, while younger participants enjoyed their lucky spins.

Inclusivity was at the heart of the event, ensuring everyone—whether seeking high-energy activities or a moment of relaxation—found something to enjoy. From virtual reality skydiving to gospel singing and yoga, the event embodied the spirit of movement, togetherness, and fun that defines Denmark's active culture.

As a key supporter, ISCA played an essential role in delivering this week of movement alongside its partners in DGI, Danmarks Idrætsforbund (DIF), Dansk Firmaidræt, and Dansk Skoleidræt. Their collaboration helped make the launch a resounding success, ensuring that Danmark Motionsuge and the European Week of Sport #BeActive campaign reached communities across Denmark.

With such an exhilarating start, Danmark Motionsuge promises a week full of movement, connection, and celebration.
