No Elevators Day campaign results in 2024: #BeActive Lifestyle Takes the Spotlight

This campaign encourages people to #BeActive in their daily lives by taking the stairs instead of elevators whenever possible. This initiative remains popular in many countries around the world, activating different generations and social groups. With participants from 39 countries, the 2024 campaign was all about promoting physical activity and environmental sustainability, with a special focus on workplaces and community involvement. 473 events attracted nearly 68,000 participants from companies, educational and fitness institutions, or just individuals who celebrated the 10th No Elevators Day with fun events and activities.
No Elevators Day 2024 saw widespread enthusiasm, particularly on social media, where users shared creative short videos of their stair-related activities. It was inspiring to see global communities unite for this cause, promoting health and community bonds.
This year also marked the initiative's debut in the Republic of Moldova, with Premier Energy Moldova employees opting for stairs over elevators, adding physical activity to their routines. Overall, workplaces were notably engaged in the celebration of this edition of No Elevators Day, with many companies hosting stair-climbing challenges and other friendly competitions that boosted energy and motivation at work.
