Danish Team Sports Day 2018 offers a game for everyone and a chance to win handball world championship tickets

04/09/2018

The second annual Danish Team Sports Day (Holdspilsdagen) is broadening its scope this year – not only across Denmark, but also across the whole European Week of Sport timeframe. With events planned from 7 September to 3 October for high school students and participants aged 60+, the aim of Team Sports Day is to show that team sports are for everyone.

And during the European Week of Sport from 23-30 September, one lucky person who shares their experience of the day on Facebook or Instagram with the #Holdspilsdagen2018 hashtag will win a ticket for them and 5 friends to attend the Handball World Championships in Herning in January 2019.

The Team Sports Days around Denmark will offer “come-and-try” activities to invite people to discover the right team sport for them – or simply to discover team sports as a great way to keep fit, meet people and have fun.

The events are being organised by the University of Copenhagen’s Centre for Team Sports and Health and the Bevæg dig for livet (Move for life) campaign.
